Whalley — also known as Surrey City Centre — is one of Surrey BC’s fastest-growing urban neighbourhoods, with a rapidly increasing number of young families. Licensed group childcare within Whalley itself is limited. Most Whalley families with children in licensed daycare commute to Newton, which sits 12 to 18 minutes south on King George Boulevard.
